How to Access Google Drive

In order to use Google Drive, you will need to create a free account with Google or use your provided ISU email to login.

 

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to www.google.com and click on Sign In.
Step 2: After signing in, click on the app button to choose a program (Youtube, Drive, etc.). For the purpose of this document, we will focus on Drive.
Step 3: After clicking Drive, you can view your documents, folders, and shared items. Click on New to make a new Docs, Sheets, or Slides document.

Note: Docs is much like Word. Sheets is similar to Excel. Slides would be close to Powerpoint, and Forms is an easy way to create a survey or sign-up form.  Although each product doesn’t have the same amount of abilities as Microsoft, Google products do have the ability to share with others and have multiple users editing the document at the same time.
