Encoder PC:
- Open encoder PC black cabinet
- Turn on camera preview screen
- Instructor camera appropriately positioned
- Open Panopto
- Log in
- Ensure it is set up for an “Offline Recording” and formatted correctly
- Ensure Panopto is receiving audio and Desktop video feed
- Audio Source: USB Device
- Video Source: will not be any instructor video
- Open Firefox and log in to WebEx as the room host
- Start the appropriate scheduled class session
- Share camera video (audio automatically shared)
- Use VNC shortcut on desktop to log in to instructor PC
- Open Firefox and select the WebEx class shortcut on the bookmark toolbar
- Enter the session as ‘Instructor’
- Encoder host must then right click and change Instructor from Attendee to ‘Presenter’
- ‘Share Desktop’ from Instructor PC
- Ensure Mic from Encoder Host stays On or NOT MUTED
Instructor PC:
- Ensure instructor PC is properly connected (VGA, Audio, Ethernet)
- Take out black lapel instructor mic and make sure it has sufficient battery power
- Ensure Extron switcher is set to ‘Room PC’
- Turn on Wacom Tablet
- Open PDF Annotator
- Start WebEx and Panopto recording when appropriate
- When saving notes, ensure select correct class lecture notes folder
