Uploading to Youtube

In order to upload videos to Youtube, you will need a Google account and login to Youtube using this account information (ISU email will not work for Youtube).

 

Instructions:

Step 1: After signing in to YouTube, click on Upload in the top right corner.
Step 2: First, select from the drop-down menu to share the video publicly or keep it private. To upload a file, drag and drop in the area marked on the page or browse your computer by clicking on Select Files to Upload.
Step 3: Once the video begins to upload, a progress bar will be displayed. At this time, the video details can be entered.

Optional:

Step 1: Once the video is uploaded, go to Video Manager in the Your Channel area. Click on Edit to make minor changes to the video, if needed.

Step 2: While editing the video, click on the Subtitles and CC tab to add closed captioning. Add English or any other language to the captioning service.

Step 3: Choose to upload a text document, auto-sync (YouTube auto-transcription service, will need to check for errors), or create new text.
