Exporting Your Lecture Recording (Windows)

After recording his lecture video and saving it under the folder he created for his course, John wanted to export his lecture video as a standalone MP4 file so that he would be able to share it with his students. In doing so, he followed the steps presented below.

 

 

  • To start the Production Wizard, click the exporting windows 1button above the Clip Bin area to open the Production Wizard.
  • In the Production Wizard, expand the menu to view a list of production options and select MP4 only (up to 720p). Then click Next.

  • When you click Next, you will be asked to select a production name and the folder where you want to save your video. Give a name to your video file and save it the same folder where you saved your recording file and project file.

  • When you click Finish, the rendering process for your video will start. Rendering time depends on the duration of your video. The longer the video, the longer the rendering time.

  • When your video is rendered, it will appear in your folder.
