Workshop Information

Engineering-LAS Online Learning (ELO) will host a series of four short workshops in Fall 2016 on Accessibility at ISU in collaboration with the Web Accessibility Coordinator’s office, the Student Disability Resources (SDR), and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT). These workshops are free to the ISU community.

Why? To raise awareness about accessibility needs and resources at ISU

Where? 206 Durham (capacity 60 people)

When? Sessions will be held during the lunch hour. Lunch will be provided.

  • Monday, September 19, 12PM – 1PM: The “What” and “Why” of Accessibility
    (an overview; open to all interested in accessibility)
    This Session is full. Please register for another session.
  • Tuesday, September 27, 12PM – 1PM: Working One-on-One with Students
    (student support staff – academic advisors, disability liaisons, and more)
    Registration closes Wednesday, September 21
  • Wednesday, October 5, 11:30AM – 1PM: Developing Digital Content for All
    (web and instructional designers, IT support staff)
    This Session is full. Please register for another session.
  • Thursday, October 13, 12PM – 1PM: Top 10 Tips to Make Your Online Course Accessible
    (faculty)
    Registration is closed.

All sessions will be recorded for later viewing.
