Room Control – Projectors
A working projector is the most important aspect for smooth classroom operation. If the projector is not working, class typically cannot continue. The producer of a class should know how to turn the projector off and on, as well as how to change the input video source that the projector displays. For example, if the Instructor brings in a laptop, the source for the projector needs to be changed so that their laptop will display.
- ELO PROJECTORS
- ELO projectors are controlled through the touch panel located at the podium, as well as through the touch panel control program on the control PC next to the Encoder. There is a clearly marked “On/Off” button in the top left corner to control the projector. There are also several input source selection buttons that are clearly labeled.
- NON-ELO PROJECTORS
- Most projectors in non-ELO rooms also have a touch panel that performs similar functions as those in ELO rooms. There is typically an “On/Off” button as well as several input source selection buttons.
