Room Controls
- We have introduced usage of the computers and microphones so far. This section will cover the rest of the equipment that you should at least be familiar with to ensure smooth operation during a class. This equipment includes the projector, cameras, and audio controls. The specifics for each of these categories can vary between classrooms. For example, the projector may have different touch panel layout to turn it on, or the camera controls may be different. The controls can be divided into two similar groups – ELO rooms and Non-ELO rooms. The ELO rooms consist of Howe 1324, 1344, and 1242. Howe 1140 is also considered an ELO room, but it is a very special case, and will not fit the description provided in the following information. Non-ELO rooms consist of all other rooms we record in. We will look at examples for both in each category. These examples will not be in-depth – they will be expanded on during the corresponding Room Certification programs.
